Libyans burn embassies after NATO strike

A Libyan mob, Gaddafi’s supporters, attacked the British and Italian embassies on Sunday in Tripoli. This was done in revenge for the apparent killing of his son and three grandchildren in a Nato missile attack.

Two UK buildings were burned in the embassy attack, nobody was reported injured as the embassies were empty, but the attacks increased tensions between the Libyan regime and Western powers.

Turkey's foreign minister said that they hvve temporarily closed its embassy in the Libyan capital due to deteriorating security and staffs have been sent to Tunisia.
